Grapes

Grapes require a sunny south exposure for the best results. If a south exposure is not available look for a spot that is a heat trap in the garden. The vines will need some form of support. In some areas it may be necessary to lay the vines down and cover them for the winter. Grapes ripen late August through September. A light frost will sweeten the fruit.

All varieties shown are appropriate for eating, cooking, jam, juice and wine.
